Review: Marie Veronique Organics Eye Serum and Exfoliating Cleanser Samples

When my Marie Veronique arrived, I was pleased that they included a few of their samples for me to try. They are:
  • Exfoliating Cleanser ( apprx. 15ml )
  • Eye Serum ( 10ml )
  • Moisture Serum ( 10ml )
  • Skin Lightening Vitamin C Supplement ( 2 capsules in a 10ml glass vial )
Today, I am going to give a review for both the Exfoliating Cleanser and the Eye Serum. Generally, the products that I have ordered from MVO is working out very well for me and I've seen remarkable changes in my skin overall. I have no regrets at all for purchasing these items, though they fall under the 'mid high priced' segment. So, does this two samples worked as good as the rest?

My Experience

The sample comes in a 10ml glass vial and was rather surprised to find that the serum is rather runny. This is the first for me as I am used to using light weight eye creams from other brands. I just need a very small amount and it is sufficient for me to apply it on both my eye area. The next day, I did feel that my eyes are relaxed and hydrated. However, there are no changes on my dark circles and fine lines. ( Well, I am not expecting it to work out so fast. )

The following 2 weeks, I did noticed that my eye area is not sunken down as before and seemed more moisturised. To date, the serum seemed not as runny as before, thickens slightly but managable. I've been using this every night for a month plus and this serum will likely last me till end of this month. I'll say it's quite worth it. This serum takes a while to work, unlike other brands that will give you the instant results that doesn't last. I am rather pleased with it and my eyes looked slightly livelier now and lightens a bit. However, it is unlikely that I will purchase this serum in full because the price is rather high. Not cheap for a bottle of 30ml!

My Experience

This samples comes in a bigger size of 15ml than the rest. However, I have to forcefully shake the contents out as the mouth of the sample bottle is rather small. I don't see that you will have the same problem like mine should you buy the product in full size as it comes in with a pump. The texture of this cleanser is lovely and has a pleasant aromatic smell. I kinda like this over my Daily Microfoliant in terms of texture and smell. I also like that it leaves my skin pleasantly soft and smooth! Yay!

This item was purchased by me for my personal purposes. This review is based on my honest and personal experience with this product and is not influenced by any parties.
