Review: Antipodes Kiwi Seed Oil Eye Cream

Antipodes Kiwi Seed Oil Eye Cream 30ml MYR 178

After actively using eye creams or serums since 2 years ago, it dawned to me that it is something that one should not neglect. It is essentially as important as your serums or creams for face. Many close friends or family I know, still have not started using eye cream or eye serums because they feel that it is not something important to concentrate on. If you are aware, most people will comment " You looked tired. Is everything ok?" or " You didn't sleep last night ar?" just by looking at your eyes area. They wouldn't look at the condition of your skin and ask those questions, would they?

Most also claim that eye serums or creams are sometimes more expensive than for the face itself. Honestly, I have to agree with them on many 'ridiculously priced' eye creams available in the market. With that comment, it brings me to this item, which I am going to review. Well, you've certainly seen a few reviews I've done under the Antipodes brand and finally, this will be the last lot of product. I bought this ( on a discounted price of course ) when I ran out of my DeVita Eye Cream. I was very, very reluctant to purchase this initially because if the price tag but buckled when given a fair amount of discount.

Review: Neogence Clarifying & Hydrating Make-Up Removing Liquid

Neogence Clarifying & Hydrating Make-Up Removing Liquid 200ml  MYR 26-24 (Discounted )

Of late, I have been putting on make-up and honestly, I enjoy it! I am not those who wears heavy make-up with absolute heavy coverage, but with my essentials like concealer, pressed powder, eyeshadow, blusher and my absolute must: liquid eyeliner.

Because of my oily lids, I need a heavy duty liner, to last at least for 5 hours. I have found one ( review coming up ) and you know how it is, heavy duty ones requires a good make-up remover to remove it. I used to like Lancome's Bi-Facil makeup remover, which I thought is the only best eye makeup remover in the world! However, I was not keen on the price, hence begin a look out for other alternatives...and I stumbled unto this at Sasa.

Removing eye makeup the proper way

Ever since I stumbled into the world of Lisa Eldridge, I have been totally enchanted by her! Her poise, the British accent and the effortless way of her make-up techniques. As I watched this video of hers, horror to my horrors, I realised that I have been removing eye make-up the wrong way all these while. Yikes! My poor delicate eye area have suffered much abuse of constant stretching due to my improper ways.

So, I thought of sharing this, just so make sure that we remove them in the correct manner. If some of you have been following this method all these while, I envy you. Yes I do:) But to those who have been removing them the incorrect way, don't fret. Join the boat. Just remember, it's never too late to learn.

Review: Clinelle Eye & Lip Makeup Remover

Clinelle Eye & Lip Makeup Remover 80ml MYR 33.90

I have been wearing makeup lately, especially in the weekends..and LOVING IT as well. Though it's all fun and lovely, I never forget the importance of removing them thoroughly at the end of the day. I always rely on my trusty L'occitane Fresh Face Water to do the job well.

For the eyes, I always fall back on my Lancome Bi-Facil Eye Makeup Remover. Though it is not of organic ingredients, it does the job effectively. It was running low and I decided to venture out to try other natural based and cheaper alternatives. And I found Clinelle. I have used some of the products from this brand in the past and it's not bad...and some not too great either. Well, let's see if this does the job...

Review: DeVita Revitalizing Eye Lift Creme

DeVita Revitalizing Eye Lift Creme 30ml USD 18.86
( With Coupon Code, price is USD 16.36/ MYR 52.75 )

I was looking for a good but wallet friendly eye cream in iHerb and I was happy that DeVita is available through them. I came across this brand last year and they are quite famed for their Moisturizing Sunscreen. Seeing that DeVita is a all-natural, 100% Paraben Free, PETA Certified and Vegan cosmeceutical skin care line, it didn't make me worry much when I placed an order at iHerb for this eye cream.

It was also my first time shopping at iHerb and boy, I am rather happy to find this site. Their prices offered are much less than other websites and better yet,  I've got additional discount too when using the coupon code. For first time buyers like me, the extra discount of $5.00 off did helped to save some $$$ in the shipping costs.

Now, let's look at their product description shall we...

Review: Garden of Wisdom Eye Majik Cream

Garden of Wisdon Eye Majik Cream( No Wax ) 10g USD 18.85/ RM 58.60

How many of us actually include applying eye creams as part of our skincare regime? Not many I reckon. I actually started paying attention to my eye area when I started using Marie Veronique Eye Serum sample early this year. Yes, I am a late bloomer!:D

One of the many reasons that I am not fond of putting creams to my eye area is because I dread developing milia seeds. I really dread the thought and secondly, I find that most eye creams comes with a high price tag for a tiny tube or a little small jar. I simply think that paying RM 100 and above is a little bit overwhelming for me.

However, I am glad to find that Garden of Wisdom does offer reasonable prices for their products and I took the plunge in ordering a small jar of eye cream to address some of my fine lines and dark circle.

Product Description

This cream is very light and fluffy, and soaks into the skin without being greasy or oily. This version of Eye Majik was specially formulated for those who are sensitive to wax based creams. Date seed extract significantly reverses wrinkles, while other actives cool, calm and relax skin.

Ingredients
Distilled Water-hydrating, solvent
Artemisia Hydrosol-soothing,cooling, refreshing
Cornflower Hydrosol-anti-inflammatory,soothing,cooling,tightening
East Shea Butter-healing,conditioning

Review: Marie Veronique Organics Eye Serum and Exfoliating Cleanser Samples

When my Marie Veronique arrived, I was pleased that they included a few of their samples for me to try. They are:
  • Exfoliating Cleanser ( apprx. 15ml )
  • Eye Serum ( 10ml )
  • Moisture Serum ( 10ml )
  • Skin Lightening Vitamin C Supplement ( 2 capsules in a 10ml glass vial )
Today, I am going to give a review for both the Exfoliating Cleanser and the Eye Serum. Generally, the products that I have ordered from MVO is working out very well for me and I've seen remarkable changes in my skin overall. I have no regrets at all for purchasing these items, though they fall under the 'mid high priced' segment. So, does this two samples worked as good as the rest?
