I can't really remember if I have won anything in my life..... until I won this product as part of a giveaway from Vivawoman. I literally went hysterical! I was so happy when I received this, mainly because it comes from my favourite blogger, Sesame. Confession....this is an overdue post ( yes, I received this in April ). Yikes!
I am one that is quite particular when it comes to hygiene. Who doesn't, right? In my bag, I always carry a small bottle of hand sanitizer and baby wipes. I always use this before I start my meals, after a visit to the toilet or when I knew I touched something dirty.( Sometimes, I usually use both the wipes and sanitizer to wipe the hotel's toilet seat before use.) Though they may look clean, you will never know that they may be swimming with unknown bacteria on the surface.
Gosh, I cringe at the thought of it. :P Ok...let's just stop the thought there and get on with the review....

My Experience
This hand sanitizer comes in a very attractive pump tube and it is the first that caught my eye. It looked gorgeous and luxurious at the same time. Perfect for me to carry along with me in my bag!
The product itself is liquid-y, ( alike those drugstore ones ), with a nice, clean, citrus like scent. When I used it for the first time before bed, I find that this is not moisturizing enough for my hands. Maybe I am so used to balm-like-moisturizes that I find that this is only 'meh' for night time use. So I think that it is better off if I use this as hand sanitizer in the day.
Now, it is a different story all together when I used this in the day. I replaced this with my regular 'alcohol laced' hand sanitizer and I find that this doesn't dry out my hands, unlike my regular one. Not only does my hand feels comfortable, with no tightening effect, it also gave me the peace of mind that my hands are 'sanitized' and clear of germ-ies.
If you ask me if this product had made my hands looking younger as it claims, I can say that it didn't. If I looked on the surface wise, I still have hands that looked '30' plus of age. Well, probably...( I am hoping ) that the peptides is doing some kind of work beneath....
Overall
I personally think that this is a good alternative product to have, should you prefer non-alcoholic with organic and natural ingredients. I think this is the first hand sanitizer which I came across using such safe ingredients versus the usual alcohol ones. Plus, the packaging is gorgeous!
Though I didn't see any difference in the anti-aging effects as it claims, I can safely say that it does make my hands feels comfortable and not drying.

ReplyDeleteI like this a lot and I actually use it more to nourish my hand than sanitize. I do see an improvement in the look of my hand so for me, it does have an anti-aging effect. I guess it's different mileage for different people.
