Review: Lip Pure Lip Balm

Lip Pure Lip Balm 4g MYR 11.90

Ever since my eczema case, I would say that I am an avid user of lip balms. Not the ordinary 'petroleum' filled kinda lip balms, but those which are made from natural ingredients. Due to my sensitive condition, I am very careful in finding one that does not further aggravate the sensitivity. I must say that finding one in Malaysia, which only contain 100% natural ones, are hard to find.

Before I chance upon this lip balm, there are many varieties of lip balms, easily available at drugstores. Some are tinted, while some claimed to be completely natural and pure. Unfortunately, the ingredients listed contains loads of synthetic ingredients and the most used ingredient, petroleum or mineral oil.

When I found this one, I was glad that it contained mostly of natural ingredients.

My Experience

The tube itself is plain and simple, and the mechanism is alike an ordinary lipstick. The lip balm itself is even shaped like one, except that it is fragrance free and ivory in colour.

Upon application, this lip balm glides effortlessly on my lips and it is extremely moisturising! I can say that one application can last me at least 1 hour. I usually apply 5 times a day, at most, depending on the condition of my lips.

Unlike the Eucerin lipbalm, I didn't feel any tingling sensation on my sensitive lips when using this one and this tells me that my lips is liking this lip balm! Yay!

Any cons on this one? Well, probably one I think. Due to my condition, this lip balm can only last me 3 weeks! Can you imagine that? Well, if your lips are in a healthy and normal, I would say this balm can last you at least one month.

Overall

I can safely say that I love this lip balm because it keeps my lips moisturised at a longer period. Moreover,  this lip balm does not make my lips itchy or sensitive. The best thing, I find, of this balm, is the price! It is  reasonably priced and it is my cheapest find...so far.

I've developed an interest in DIY and less chemical-ly products after I started experiencing hairfall back in 2009. Love to see a blog like yours :)
