My most used beauty tool.....

Dariya Front Hair Stabilizer ( Fringe Pad ) MYR 4.90/ 2pcs

In my normal routine, I use a headband to secure my fringes whenever I wash my hair, do my makeup or when I mop the floor. I find it troublesome at times, where the headband is not tight enough to hold my front fringe and I would usually get some stubborn ones that would 'fall' in front of my face.

What seems to be a nuisance has became a norm for me for a couple of years...until I encountered these! I was first 'introduced' to this product when I had my brows done at a cosmetic counter. When the SA put these on my fringes, it was love at first sight for me. I was amazed that it was easy and hold my stubborn fringes in place. I was told that she bought hers from SASA. Wasting no time, I finally went to SASA to get these.

This product is made from velcro and before I found out the 'real' name of this item, I always refer them as my hair velcro's. It allows the fringes to sit nicely in place and best of all, it is lightweight, bendable and it is great for travelling.

This is extremely easy to use and I always use these to secure the front fringes after I tie my hair back.

As you can see from the above picture, the sides of my hair velcro is starting to fray because I have been constantly using these for almost a year! I even use these when cleaning my house. My headband is of no use to me anymore ever since I encountered these.

So to anyone who has similar hair fringe problems like mine, these are highly recommended! I got mine from SASA and I found that this product is one of the hot items and is quick to sell-out. I think this is available at some asian online stores as well and some are sold at a much cheaper price. If you are lucky, you may find one with cute shapes like a bow too!

This item was purchased by me for my personal purposes. This review is based on my honest and personal experience with this product and is not influenced by any parties.

  1. Does it change the shape of the bangs/hair?
You know how headbands leave those ugly dent marks on the hair or how they flatten the hair when you wear them for too long? I hate that. My hair is wavy so it goes out-of-shape easily whenever I wear hats and headbands.

    How about these hair velcros?

    1. Hi Vivi:) In my experience, I did not have any flat hair issues, unlike headbands because these velcros are very flexible. It all depends on how tightly you secure the velcros.

What you can do is adjust your front hair to a little 'crown' and then secure it with the velcros.

    1. Huh really? That's weird...You must have fine hair:)

For me, I would firstly tie my hair back and then secure my front with these, just to make sure it doesn't slip.
